Getting to SantaPark

The address is Tarvantie 1.

Distance

SantaPark lies about 7 km from the centre of Rovaniemi and about 2 km from the airport.

By car

Guest parking is free.

By bus

The Santa Claus Bus has a stop at SantaPark. City line 8 links the centre and the Village; a single ticket in Zone A costs €3.60 for adults and the ride takes about 30 minutes. Do not assume a stop right at the entrance, and check the stop name on the day.

Airport, bus and taxi →

If you stay near the Village, you can combine the park with the Arctic Circle line on another day. Check the Lapland Christmas page before you fix a date, because Santa Claus Office is busiest from mid November to early January.

Planning a SantaPark day

Three things to decide before you pick a date.

Choose the date

The park opens at 10 a.m. on most days and at 9 a.m. on December weekends and from 24 to 31 December. Ticket prices can vary by date, so compare the total for your day before you book.

Add the free Village

Santa Claus Office is open every day, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. between 24 October and 15 November 2026, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. between 16 and 29 November, and from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. from 30 November 2026 to 3 January 2027. Its free queue is a different experience from the Santa meeting in the park.

Arrive by air

The airport is about 2 km from the park. Winter 2026/27 routes include Helsinki, Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg and London Gatwick. A seasonal route does not mean a flight every day.
